Barbeito "Single Harvest" Tinta Negra, Meio Seco 2008
This wine comes from a unique vineyard located in the lower slopes of the Estreito de Câmara de Lobos. I harvested half of the grapes a week before they reached their full ripeness, taking the advantage of obtaining greater acidity. This was reinforced through the use of the continuous press in the winemaking process. In March 2009, I started the aging process of this wine using the traditional Canteiro method, under moderate temperatures, in old French oak casks. In March 2019, 2,986 units were bottled, all individually numbered.
